Hafeez gets emotional while playing for home crowd

Pakistan senior top order batsman Mohammad Hafeez was not able to control his emotions after playing in front on his home crowd Sargodha for the very first time, alongside Pakistan’s cricketing legends.

“I was very emotional today as I was playing my first ever match in Sargodha in front of my home town crowd with all legends of cricket, all for fans. Thanks to all people for coming to support us all, 18 thousands crowd, full pack stadium,” Hafeez said on social media

A cricket match between DC Sargodha and Pakistan 11 was held at Sargodha stadium on Sunday, featuring the likes of Pakistan cricket greats Inzamam ul Haq, Misbah ul Haq, Abdul Razzaq, Saeed Ajmal alongside local cricketers.

Hafeez later thanked all his cricketing mates for participating in the match held in his home city.
