Quetta mountains receive snowfall

QUETTA: The peaks of mountains surrounding the metropolis received light snowfall at night between Tuesday and Wednesday.

Quetta city and adjoining areas received rain late Tuesday night. People of the city witnessed peaks of mountains surrounding Quetta valley particularly Koh Mehrdar and Koh Zarghoon covered with light snow.

Parts of northern Balochistan including Ziarat, Toba Kakari, Rod Mullazai and others have also received light snowfall.

According to Met Office, Quetta and northern Balochistan may receive more rain and snowfall for next one or two days.
