ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Monday telephoned Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad Khan and congratulated him for being the longest serving Governor of Sindh.
The Prime Minister said it manifested the sagacity of Governor Ishrat ul Ebad who gave highest consideration to the interests of Sindh and the Federation.
The Prime Minister lauded his "strong and endurable" role in maintaining the coalition between Pakistan Peoples Party and the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement.
He said Governor Dr Ebad has proved himself as a bridge in winning the confidence of the leaders of both MQM and PPP.
