LAHORE: All CNG filling stations in Lahore, Gujranwala, Multan and Sahiwal regions remain closed on Monday for three days CNG closure from Monday to Wednesday to comply with gas shortage management plan.
Many buses and wagons remained out of the roads due to closure of CNG stations.
People faced problems in reaching their destinations due to dearth of public transport. Buses, wagons and rickshaws demanded inflated fares.
In the provincial metropolis and at GT road a large number of people kept waiting for public transport as several vehicles remained off road.
Monopolising the situation, rickshaw drivers charged according to their own 'sweet will' while wagons on city routes charged extra five to ten rupees.
