Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi is on cloud nine after his team cruised to the finals of the third edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and he is well aware that the last night's eliminator would not have been possible, if it was not for Pakistan Army.
Pak Army helicopters were used to dry the wet outfield for the crunch game, which made the ground ready for the game in a short span of time. The match otherwise would have possibly been called off.
“I would like to thank the Pakistan Army for their dedication towards making our match against KK possible despite all the rain and the wet outfield. The match conditions were top notch. Not easy to make the ground ready in very little amount of time. Kudos! @OfficialDGISPR,” said Afridi on social media.

The Zalmi chief praised his team skipper Darren Sammy and stated that his side is ready to take on the Islamabad United for the PSL final.
Alhamdulillah! We have done it once again. Into another final. Unreal consistency from @KamiAkmal23. Showed his class once again tonight. @darensammy88 led the team very well. Marshalled his troops very effectively. Proud of the team! We are ready for the final. pic.twitter.com/TT2ODtuQBw
