Zalmi will give everything to defend title, Saqlain Mushtaq promises

As Pakistan Super League [PSL] has returned to Pakistan, Saqlain Mushtaq, Pakistan legendary off spinner and the pioneer of doosra delivery, has spoken up in support of defending champions Peshawar Zalmi, as his side is all set to take on Quetta Gladiators tonight.

“I am very excited that all Pakistanis are excited, especially the Lahoris and Karachiites, as cricket has returned [home] and our youth would finally get to see their heroes,” said Mushtaq in a video message on social media.

The Zalmi’s spin consultant was of the view that the Yellow Storm is carrying the ‘momentum’, after they cemented their place in the top four, thanks to an impressive turnaround at the points table. He added that the Zalmi will give their all to get a chance for the finals.

“Peshawar Zalmi is the defending champion and this time they have the momentum on their side. Our unit is working very well in all the three departments. We have performed outstandingly well in the last two matches and we are looking forward for the playoff match against Quetta Gladiators in Lahore,” said Mushtaq.

“Our next target will be Karachi and we will give our 100 percent, our sweat, blood, heart and soul will be into that...and will try our best to life the title,” he added.

Peshawar Zalmi will take on Quetta Gladiators for the PSL playoffs at Lahore, Gadaffi Stadium tonight.
