ISLAMABAD: President PPP Punjab Imtiaz Safdar Warraich paid rich tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on the eve of her death anniversary and said she had devoted and sacrificed her life for the welfare of Pakistani people.
Talking to PTV on Tuesday, he said she always fought for democracy and rights of the people. He said PPP-led coalition government has completed its four years of term while following the reconciliation policy of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
He said present government will strengthen parliamentary system in the country and will serve the nation. He counted the miseries of martial laws to the country and said dictators always compromised over the sovereignty of the country for the sake of dollars.
