Tunisia issues tender to buy soft wheat, feed barley

PARIS: Tunisia's state grains agency on Wednesday issued an international tender to purchase 67,000 tonnes of soft wheat and 50,000 tonnes of feed barley, all of optional origin, European traders said.

It is seeking two consignments of 25,000 tonnes and one consignment of 17,000 tonnes for the soft wheat, and two 25,000 tonne consignments for the barley, the traders said.

The tender called for shipment between March 20 and April 10, on the basis of western European grain origins.

The bidding deadline is on Thursday, Feb. 22.
