The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on the directives of interior ministry took medical records of PPP MNA late Fauzia Wahab into custody from OMI hospital, where she died during treatment. Talking to Business Recorder, Assistant Director FIA Abbas Baloch said that an FIA team approached the hospital and took the medical records of late Fauzia Wahab into custody to interrogate the cause of her death.
He said the action was taken on the reports that suggested her death was due to doctors' negligence. Moreover, he said the medical records of late Fauzia Wahab would be submitted to interior ministry for further investigation. He said that the ministry in the light of her medical records would take a group of doctors on board to ascertain the cause of her death.
