Police recover explosive material from a house after raid

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad police recovered materials used in preparation of low intensity improvised explosive devices in a raid in a housing unit in Qasimabad here Monday night.

According to Nasim Nagar police station's SHO, the material was recovered from the residence of Azizullah Magsi in Abdullah Villas.Magsi told the police that he had rented the first floor of his residence to 2 bachelors and claimed that the material belonged to them.

The SHO told that the police raided the place on a tip-off given by some suspects.Magsi was an employee of Lakhra Power House.The Bomb Disposal Squad's team accompanied police in the raid and safely recovered the material.
