Three-day flower show organised by Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) inaugurated at Karachi Zoo on Friday, which will continue till March 04. The flower show open for three days, where many varieties of flowers are displayed by the KMC.
Separate stalls have been established by all five district municipal corporations. The formal inauguration was made by Municipal Commissioner Karachi, Matanat Ali Khan along with Senior Director Culture and Sports, Muhammad Rehan Khan, Director Safari Park Salman Shamsi and Director Zoo Bashir Saddozai.
On this occasion Municipal Commissioner KMC said that this is an excellent step to hold the flower show right at the start of spring season. He said besides performing the renovation and restoration process in Karachi Zoo, new species of animals and birds had also been brought in zoo and this process would continue.
The PC-I for development works of Karachi Zoo was prepared and will be implemented on gradual basis. Director Zoo Bashir Saddozai inspected the stalls of all five district municipal corporations of the city and private nurseries which had been set-up in the flower show.
