Punjab Provincial Co-operative Bank Limited (PPCBL) has extended the last date for agriculture loan advances for the Rabi crops till February 15, so that maximum number of small farmers could benefit by the loans on soft terms.
A PPCBL spokesman said here on Friday that the bank was advancing Rs 2.5 billion agriculture loans to the members of co-operative societies and small farmers for sowing and maturing the FY 2011-12 Rabi crops including wheat, grams, oil seeds, vegetables, fodder, sunflower etc.
