It touched the intra-day high of 9,135.12 points and low of 9,033.87 points, and closed at 9,081.18 points with a net positive change of 51.02 points, or 0.56 percent higher than previous close.
The volume was 63,156,815 shares, which was 67.59 percent of KSE All share volume and 99.86 percent of KSE-100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 93,437,845 shares, and KS-100 volume was 63,244,122 shares.
BR Cement Index closed at 656.18 with a net positive change of 3.15 points or percentage change of 0.48 and turnover of 13,708,178 shares.
BR Commercial Banks Index closed at 2,432.45 with a net positive change of 5.08 points or percentage change of 0.21 and turnover of 5,213,571 shares.
BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,732.50 with a net positive change of 3.7 points or percentage change of 0.14 and turnover of 3,276,816 shares.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 292.23 with a net positive change of 2.59 points or percentage change of 0.89 and turnover of 3,061,448 shares.
BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,616.41 with a net positive change of 9.19 points or percentage change of 0.57 and turnover of 1,938,079 shares.
