Published Updated

Bullish sentiments prevailed on the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) on Friday where equities registered gains across the board amid ascending transaction volume following fresh buying in blue chips. The LSE-25 index was increased by 73.45 points and was ended at 3019.34 points against 2945.89 points of Thursday, while trading turnover was significantly increased to 3.473 million shares, as compared to last day volume of 1.139 million shares.
The market was opened on positive sign and stayed in green zone throughout the day. The investors stayed on buying course and picked potential shares that kept the market in bullish zone. As a result, PSO, Pakistan Oil Fields, PPL, OGDC, of the oil sector and Engro Corporation, Fauji Fertiliser and Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim from the fertiliser sector helped market sentiments. Similarly, MCB Bank, National Bank, Adamjee Insurance, Nishat Mills, Bank of Punjab, D.G. Khan Cement and Lafarge Pakistan Cement also performed well.
