Two persons were killed in different areas of the metropolis here on Tuesday. According to police, a body of youth was found from Lyari Expressway in the limits of Shershah police station. The identity of victim was yet to be ascertained, while police said it found the body from the Nullah along with the Lyari Expressway near Gulbai Chowk.
Police said the victim, who had several torture marks on hi body, received single bullet on his head. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for post-mortem and later moved to Edhi Morgue for identification. Police said victim, who wore Shalwar Kameez, appeared to be Baloch. A case was registered against unidentified men on the complaint of state. Another bullet-riddled and tortured body was found from Khayaban-e-Qasim in the limits of Darakshan police station.
The identity of victim was yet to be ascertained while police found his body from main road of phase VIII Khayaban-e-Qasim. SHO Mohsin Haider said the victim received fatal injuries on his head. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities. Later his body was moved to Edhi Morgue for identification. No case was registered till filing of this report.
