Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah called on Governor Sindh, Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan. A statement issued from the Governor House here on Tuesday said that the prevailing situation, law and order and development works came up for discussion during the meeting. It said that the governor and CM appreciated the arrangements made on the occasion of chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA).
They stressed that the steps for the maintenance of law and order in the province should continue so that better law and order, sectarian harmony and spirit of unity and cohesion could prevail. Dr Ebad and Qaim also talked about the process of reconciliation among the allies in the current situation. They also reviewed the headway in the development works and directed concerned officials that the process of provision of basic facilities to people should continue without any interruption.
