Law minister says Prime Minister won't resign

Minister for Law Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Moula Bakhsh Chandio said on Monday that Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani would not resign. Talking to media persons outside the Parliament House, he said the resolution tabled by the coalition in the National Assembly was for strengthening democracy and ensuring supremacy of Parliament.
To a question, the minister dispelled the impression that there existed any confrontation among the state institutions. "All the state institutions are working within their domain and any impression of a confrontation among them is baseless." To another question, he said the dates of next general elections would be announced in consultation with allied parties."
