Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Quaid Altaf Hussain said on Thursday that he was ready to talk to Taliban for the survival, security, peace and stability of the country. In a telephonic conversation with head of Fata Grand Alliance, Malik Khan Marjan, he further said that MQM wanted to introduce a system, which would bring stability in the country.
Hussain said that the people of Fata had rendered immense sacrifices for Pakistan. He appealed to all Taliban leaders, youths, and students to understand the conspiracies of enemies instead of resorting to violence. Marjan said, "We believe in dialogue. Negotiations should be held with the tribal elders instead of using power against youths in the tribal areas. They need better counselling. The enemy is using us against each other." He further said, "Great injustices have been done to the people of Fata. Some elements want to use Fata reforms for their own illegal and vested interests, but the tribes will maintain their tribal identity."
