The Traffic Police in the metropolis have asked the motorcyclists to wear helmets as a safety measure. DIG Traffic Karachi, Khurrum Gulzar, said in a statement on Wednesday that under the Motor Vehicle Ordinance's section 89-A, those riding motorcycle must wear helmets.
