As we are holding Lead 2012; Youth in Rising South Asia: Dreams and Promises, on 7-8th January, 2012. I want to thank you each and every one of you who have contributed in any way for making the event a truly memorable one. SAARC CCI has undertaken several initiatives for promotion of Economic Co-operation in the region.
The evil of terrorism has severely affected our region, causing extensive loss of human life, and damaging the businesses, affecting peace, harmony, good relations with neighbouring countries and regional co-operation. The world today as we know has become a global village. The integration of businesses has made the world a smaller place to live in. Distances and time are no longer the constraints for businesses across the globe. With the rapid advancement of technology, the need for sustainability and survivability has become crucial perspective for businesses throughout the world as competition grows gruesome.
SAARC CCI has undertaken several initiatives for promotion of Economic Co-operation in the region. I am confident that the Dhaka convention will play a pivotal role in creating synergy between the governments and the private sector within the region and will focus on enhancing regional connectivity. I would like to thank everyone again for your support and making SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SAARC CCI) one of the finest organisations in the region. I wish the Dhaka Convention all success.
