The Forest Department of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) is planning to launch a drive to save the forests and wildlife of the region, said Secretary Forest GB Abdul Hameed Khan here on Thursday. Talking to APP, he said that forest is a precious asset of the country and also generating revenue.
He said: "We have already deployed forest guard at entering and existing point of forest to prevent wood cutting." He asked the people of GB to cooperate with Forest Department to save the forests.
