Four alleged TTP men arrested: weapons, suicide jackets, rockets seized

Central Investigation Department (CID) Police claimed to have arrested four accused terrorist members of Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Thursday in a crackdown at various areas of the city while recovered weapons, suicide jackets, rockets from their possession.
According to Additional Inspector General CID, the Police raided at different places including Mangopir, Walika, Suparco Mor and arrested four alleged terrorists namely Abdul Qyume, s/o Khan, M. Sharif s/o Saeed Gul, Usman Masood s/o Khushnood and Habib Khan s/o Naik Muhammad. CID Police recovered suicide jackets, a Kalashnikov, two 9-mm pistols, two rockets, and heavy explosive from possession of the accused. CID Police said that during initial investigation from an accused Farhan alias Ali who was arrested on December 31 police learnt that bomb blasts at Safoora Chowk, University Road and Kala Pul were carried out by the group of Taliban.
