KMC teams confiscate buffalo cub's meat

Different teams of Veterinary Department of Karachi Metropolitan Corpora-tion (KMC) on Thursday confiscated over 650-kg of buffalo cub's meat during raids. The seized meat cost more than Rs 150,000. Administrator Karachi said slaughtering of newly born buffalo cubs must be prevented and discouraged.
He said that the department officials would have to work vigorously in different areas to stop this practice. He said that sale of illegally slaughtered meat will not be allowed and if any officer is found indulged in this practice, will have to face the disciplinary action.
