Saeed Ahmed Khan, President District West of Awami National Party (ANP) gunned down while Bashir Khan, member of ANP Central Committee got injured by unidentified attackers in the area of Metroville, SITE here on Thursday. According to the details, four assailants on two motorcycles started firing on Saeed Ahmed Khan, when he was near to his house, located in the area of Metroville, SITE.
On retaliation from the gunmen of Khan, one of the attackers was killed while other injured besides other assailant managed to flee from the scene, after committing the crime. According to police, the deceased sustained three bullets and shifted to Civil Hospital, where he succumbed to injuries during treatment.
ANP President Asfandyar Wali and President Sindh Chapter Shahi Syed strongly condemned the killing of their partyman. In a statement, Shahi Syed said that the killing of ANP leader is a conspiracy to destabilise the peace of the city. He demanded of the concerned authorities to arrest the criminals involved in such heinous crime.
