14 killed in Gujranawala land dispute

At least 14 people including five children and three women were killed while five others were injured over a land dispute between families here on Thursday. According to police, six persons were shot dead by the rival group on Thursday morning in an old family dispute. Later, three houses were set on fire in which eight members of a family including three women and five children were burnt to death.
Police told that Javed and Saifullah groups were having rivalry over a piece of land and claimed that some suspects have also been arrested from the scene. After the incident, the rescue workers reached on the spot and shifted the bodies and injured to near-by hospitals. The investigations of the incident have been started.
