Former PTI provincial president, Asad Qaisar on Wednesday said the Karachi public gathering was proof that the people wanted real change in the country. Speaking at news conference, here at Peshawar Press Club, he said that people had great trust in the leadership of the PTI and claimed that the party was one of the largest political parties in the country, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a gallop survey conducted on 30 October, 2011.
He added that the party had gained 40 percent popularity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and expressed the hope the figure would swell to 70 percent. Qaisar alleged that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had broken all records of corruption and failed to deliver. He said that PTI would take people from all segments of life, including religious scholars to devise the future line of action for amicable solution of the present chaos situation. To a question, he replied that PTI would work out on its ideology and manifesto to resolve issues being faced by the masses in the country.
