Targeted killing of doctor: PMA for ascertaining cause

The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) has demanded formation of a committee comprising high ranked police officials to ascertain actual cause of targeted killing of Dr Mehboob.
Dr Samrina Hashmi, President PMA-Sindh in a statement on Sunday said the culprits, who killed the prominent dermatologist while he was performing his professional duties, must be apprehended without any negligible delay.
She said the murder of the doctor associated with a private hospital in Malirnot only deprived his family but also denied his patients of a committed healthcare provider.
Dr Samrina Hashmi said such incidents created a lot of anxiety amongst the health professionals and their families resulting into unfortunate flight of the doctors from the country.
