'Mafia' occupies costly railway land in Chaman

Land mafia and influential people have occupied costly land of Pak Railways in Chaman by building houses and godown. According to a private television channel, influential people occupied hundreds of acres of valuable worth billions of rupees land allegedly with the assistance of Railway officials.
Some had set up godowns and rented them. In some stores, smuggled goods are kept. In addition, attempts are being made to occupy a nearby cattle market. Chaman Bakra Mandi Union chief Jeelani Khan said land grabbers collect extortion from locals.
