KMC Administrator notifies change of nomenclature

Administrator Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) Muhammad Hussain Syed has notified on Thursday the change of nomenclature as part of the Schedule of Establishment of KMC with immediate effect under consequent upon revival of the Sindh Local Government Ordinance 1979 (Repeal of Sindh Local Government Ordinance, 2001).
The post of Executive District Officer (EDO) and the officers working against the post have been re-designated as Senior Director with immediate effect until further orders. The change of designations of all departments except Engineering Department, KMC as under:
The Executive Director of defunct CDGK would work as Senior Director, Additional District Officer as Additional Director while Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Accounts Officer, Administrative Officer and Director would work under the same designations in KMC
All other posts from BS-1 to BS-15 will remain the same as originally reflected in the Schedule of Establishment of KMC and subsequently reflected in the Schedule of Establishment of defunct CDGK.
According to another notification issued by Administrator Karachi Muhammad Hussain Syed Liaquat Ali Khan former Director General Parks and Horticulture has been allowed to work as Director General/Head of Department Parks and Horticulture Department KMC, Dr Shoukat Zaman former EDO Municipal Services shall work as Head of Department/Senior Director Health Services, KMC, Dr Nasir Javed former EDO Health CDGK shall work as Senior Director/Head of Medical Services Department of KMC, Najmuddin Sikandar former Executive Director Human Resources Management has been allowed to continue heading Human Resources Management Department of KMC as Director HRM while M Bashir Khan Saddozai former Director Media Management, CDGK shall also continue as Director Media Management Department, KMC.
In another order Administrator KMC has allowed Mehmood-ul-Hasan an officer of BS-18 presently working as Addl District Officer-I Finance and Accounts Department, KDA Wing to hold the charge of Director Finance and Accounts KDA Wing with immediate effect.
