Member Co-ordination Committee of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Provincial Minister for Information Technology Raza Haroon has written a letter to the British Prime Minister David Cameron expressing his concerns over the conspiracy to incite violence in Karachi by Zulfiqar Mirza.
Haroon said that at a time when peace in Karachi was restored due to the efforts of all the stakeholders, Zulfiqar Mirza, who has been spurned by the Pakistan Government, the People's Party and the Judiciary alike, was trying to foment ethnic violence in Karachi by his inflammatory speeches in London. Haroon noted with surprise that the nefarious conspiracy to incite violence was being patronised by the member of the House of Lords Baron Nazir Ahmed.
He said that it was unbecoming of his position and responsibilities. He also informed the British Prime Minister of a resolution adopted unanimously by the Provincial Assembly of Sindh condemning baseless allegations against President Asif Zardari and the founder and leader of the MQM Altaf Hussain. He hoped that the British Prime Minister would look into this and not allow the British soil to be used for creating lawlessness in Karachi.
