Trading community has assured for full implementation of proposed security plan devised by district administration for upcoming 10 days during Ashura. The security plan was discussed during a meeting held here on Saturday at DCO, Peshawar Siraj Ahmad Khan in chair.
Members of business community, traders including presidents and general secretaries of traders' associations attended the meeting. SSP operation, Tahir Ayub and SP city Haji Imtiaz were also present on the occasion. SSP operation, Tahir Ayub, on the occasion briefed traders about the proposed security plan for upcoming Ashura and informed that the plan has been devised after formal consultation while keeping in view prevailing situation. He said that police and law enforcement agencies are at high alert on Muharram-ul-Haraam.
The leaders of trading community, including Haji Haleem Jan, Malik Mehr Elahi, Haji Shuakat Ali, Haji Afzal, Al-Haj Abdullah and Anjuman Tajraan Insaf group, president Shahid Khan and other leaders spoke at the meeting. They have expressed complete satisfaction over the proposed security plan and assured full co-operation in implementation of it. The traders have also extended special gratitude for consulting and taking them in confidence while devising the security initiative for 10 days of Ashura.
