Divisional Commissioner, Ahmed Bux Narejo has directed the deputy commissioners of the division to ensure foolproof security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram and constitute peace committees consisting of religious scholars and government officers in their districts.
He was presiding over a meeting at Shahbaz Hall, Shahbaz Building Hyderabad Saturday to review the security and other necessary arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram. He said that it is our duty to protect the lives and properties of the people and particularly during Muharram.
He stressed upon the religious scholars to spread the massage of peace and harmony through their speeches and co-operate district administration in maintaining the law & order situation. He directed the DCs to make lists of all mourning processions and majalis, deploy policemen and ensure cleanliness at procession ways so that people could not face difficulties.
