Private clinics block was formally inaugurated at Shalamar Hospital, here on Wednesday. Trustee of Businessmen Hospital Trust Shahid Hussain said that Shalamar Hospital had been providing quality medical facilities to the people of the area for the last three decades. The establishment of Shalamar Medical & Dental College has enhanced this facility.
The private clinic is inaugurated for the public of suburb areas to get the consultancy from specialists and professors of Shalamar Hospital and Medical & Dental College so that the underprivileged community may get quality medical facilities, he added. Chairman Board of Management Brigadier Anis Ahmed (Retd), Chief Executive Shalamar Hospital Dr Rashid Ahmed and Principal Shalamar Medical & Dental College Professor Doctor Zahid Bashir were present on the occasion.
Management of the hospital said that the people will get high quality medical facilities with the new private clinics block. The number of consultants is also increased in the block. There is space of 8 consultants seating at a time in the block. A waiting area and parking of private clinic is also extended. The facility of private clinics will also be available from 6pm to 10pm with effect from 21st November.
