Punjab University College of Art & Design (PUCAD) students has shown excellence performance in All Pakistan Music Conference held at Alhamra Lahore. College student Amjad Ali performed well in Light Classical (Thumri) category and bagged gold medal, while Shuaib Abbas clinched third position in Vocal Classical category and also got Rs 5000 cash award.
Renowned institutes including Government College University, National College of Arts and Kinnaird College participated in the conference. PU acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Khawaja Haris Rasheed and College Principal Professor Dr Rahat Naveed Masud have congratulated the students on their achievement and said it was a pride for the college as well as the varsity.
