Karli police seize 110-kg heroin

Karli police on Tuesday claimed to have recovered around 110-kg of heroin from a loaded truck parked at Mirza Adam Khan road. According to SHO Asif Munawar, the recovery was made on the information of inhabitants that two suspicious bags were lying in the truck (TAA-285), which was parked at Mirza Adam Khan road in the jurisdiction of Kalri police station.
Police rushed to the spot and recovered 110-kg of heroin worth millions of rupees in the international market. SHO said that although no arrest was made in this regard, the police had found important clues from the site, which could help the department to nab the real culprits. No case was registered till filing of this report.
