Masoor Canada sharply lower on grain market

A few changes were seen on the wholesale grain market on Monday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereal side masoor Canada lost Rs 1000 to Rs 5000 while Urad Burma was quoted lower at Rs 3000, wheat old Bardan and new both varieties gained Rs 10 to Rs 2670-2680, respectively, they said. Other items maintained overnight levels due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
Only one change was witnessed on the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 3050 while the best type rose by Rs 25 to Rs 3125, they said. On the seed side cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type retained its week-end level at Rs 950 while the best quality registered higher at Rs 1050, they said.
