Production of girl contracting love marriage: LHC directs DSP Okara to assist SHO

Lahore High Court (LHC) here on Monday directing DSP city circle Okara to assist the SHO concerned in production of the girl who contracted love marriage on Tuesday (today), observed, "We have forgotten our traditions and become Mummy Daddy."
The court also took notice of police failure to recover the alleged detainee girl and remarked that life of the girl was in danger and the responsible will not be tolerated if she was not recovered unharmed. The court also directed brother in-law of the girl, present in the court, to cooperate police in recovery of the girl. A traffic warden Humayon Shahzad filed habeas cuprous petition for recovery of his wife Maryam. Petitioner through his counsel Asghar Ali Gill pleaded that he and Maryam got married three years ago against the will of her family. Later her family agreed to send her with petitioner after few days but they detained her instead. He said girl's brother Dr Usman Lashari, sister Dr Amina Lashari and his brother-in-law, Hassan Farooq Watto tortured and forced her to got divorce from her husband.
