The Provincial Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Settlement Authority (PaRRSA) had released first instalment of Rs 170 million to different departments for the reconstruction and rehabilitation projects in five districts of the conflict hit Malakand Division.
The fund had released from the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa package of Rs 1.5 billion for the reconstruction and rehabilitation projects. The total package was comprised on Rs 250 million for road's construction, Rs 300 million for irrigation, Rs 130 million for public health, Rs 260 million for education and Rs 200 million for agriculture.
Similarly, about Rs 360 million has been earmarked for the reconstruction and rehabilitation schemes in other conflict hit districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PaRRSA has provided the first tranche to the departments of Irrigation, Public Health and Communication & Works.
