Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while congratulating the nation on the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, said that this day reminds us the great sacrifice of Holy Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS) which he rendered for earning the blessings of Allah Almighty. He said that Islam gives us the lesson of peace, sacrifice and helping poor.
Therefore, on this happy day we should not forget the poor and downtrodden people and fulfil our religious and moral obligations by including them in our joys, he added. In his message, here on Sunday, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that on the happy occasion of Eid-ul-Azha we will have to pledge for making the service to humanity as pivot of our lives.
He said that on this occasion we will also have to ponder over mistakes and will have to work for the development and prosperity of the country with new spirit and determination by rectifying these shortcomings.
