Women shoppers thronged 'Eid with Youth' exhibition

Women Shoppers and families thronged at "Eid Business Exhibition" organised by Women Business Development Centre (WBDC) to encourage youth for joining the business field in their practical life. The exhibition on titled "Eid with Youth" continued for three days here at WBDC and concluded on Sunday.
Female students of different universities and educational institutions put their products and other artistic works on display in three-day business development activity.
More than 20 stalls including 10 incubators of women entrepreneurs with variety of products, like embroidery cloths, jewellery, decoration pieces, bangles, Mehndi and other women's related stuffs were set on display in the exhibition.
"I am here to see young female students' skills and their fascinated work", said Lubna Javed, a visitor while chatting with this scribe. The work done by young girls is marvellous and definitely appreciable, she remarked.
She said that it is encouraging sign to provide an opportunity for the young girls through which they can put on display their skilled and artistic works. She added that the participation in the exhibition of young girls is the key to explore new avenues regarding their business.
Project Manager, WBDC, Nabeela Farman said that they have got the overwhelming response of buyers during three-day exhibition. She added that the WBDC venture for encouraging youth and new talents would be helpful to open their business, which was created a sense of eagerness and motivation to join business field in future.
She said that the process of encouragement and facilitation for youth would continue and provide all kind of support to promote their skill through such events.
Javed Iqbal Khattak, Provincial Chief, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), said that the activity would be more beneficial for young to join in business field after completion of their studies.
He informed that they are going to establish Women Business Development Centre (WBDC) at Swat very soon. He said the authority has extended facilitation for development SMEs and promotion of their business.
