The Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday suspended Chairman Drug Court Bahawalpur Mian Zafar Iqbal Bohar and an Additional District & Sessions Judge of Lahore Zubair Shahzad Kiani and withdrew judicial work from their courts due to complaints of corruption against both judicial officers.
In a directive issued here on Saturday LHC registrar, secretary law, justice and parliamentary affairs was directed to withdraw judicial work from the court of Mian Zafar Iqbal Bohar, the chairman Drug Court Bahawalpur forthwith. He asked to appoint a judicial officer who must be a man of integrity. In another directive LHC Chief Justice also ordered the withdrawal of judicial work from the court of Zubair Shahzad Kiani, additional district and sessions judge, Lahore.
