Seven-day old body of women recovered

A seven-day old tortured body of a woman was recovered from bushes in Qayumabad area in the limits of Korangi Industrial area police station here on Friday. According to police, the identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained. The body was recovered from bushes in Sector D of Qayumabad.
Police said the victim, who appeared to be in her mid thirties, had several torture marks. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post mortem and later moved to Edhi mortuary. Police registered a case against unidentified men and initiated probe.
