LHC gives police 36 hours for arrest of Zainab's killer      

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday directed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab to arrest the accused involved in killing of minor girl Zainab, within 36 hours.

The court also sought record of molestation cases involving the minor children.

IGP Arif Nawaz Khan appeared on being summoned by the court and submitted that police teams had been constituted for the arrest of killer of Zainab. He said that Rs10 million cash award had been announced for identifying the accused.

The court adjourned the hearing till January 15, and also summoned Director General Forensic Laboratory on the next date of hearing.
