A cyclist hit by a rashly driven car died at Tehsil headquarter hospital Khanpur late night Tuesday. According to Saddar police, Muneer Ahmed was riding his cycle when he was hit by a speeding car coming from the opposite direction near Jhatia bhatta, about ten kms from here. The car driver fled from the scene and the cyclist was pronounced dead at the THQ hospital. Police registered case.
