Saif al-Islam Qadhafi, the son of Libya's slain leader Moamer Qadhafi, vowed, in an audio message, to fight the country's transitional leaders and Nato, the broadcaster Al Arabiya reported Sunday. "We will continue resistance. Let the rats and Nato get lost," he said in the message broadcast on the Syria-based Al-Rai TV that is loyal to Qadhafi, according to the report.
"This is our country where we live and die. We will continue resistance," he added. The message lasted for only a few seconds, which implied that it was likely broadcast live and that Saif al-Islam had opted to terminate it quickly for fear of being tracked, reported Al-Arabiya. His fate remains unknown. Over the past three days, several fighters of the NTC announced that he had been captured, but could provide no evidence of it.
