China's cotton imports in September rose 26 percent from a year earlier to 252,700 tonnes, said an industry website late on Thursday, citing customs data.. Cotton imports in the first nine months of this year totalled 1.94 million tonnes, down 9.7 percent on year, said a report published on www.cncotton.com, a website operated by China National Cotton Reserves Corp.
