Law and order situation: textile bodies threaten to launch massive protest

As many as 20 trade bodies and textile associations have announced that if the murderers of textile exporters are not apprehended within a week, they would launch protestation against the worst ever law and order situation.
Addressing a joint press conference at PTEA head office, the business leaders said that the law and order situation has almost gone out of control of the government and it has failed to provide protection to business community against dacoits, looters and kidnappers etc.
The furthered that in the present unstable conditions and absence of law and order, it has become very difficult to continue the business activities. Rana Arif Tauseef, Chairman, Shehzad Siddique, Vice Chairman, Pakistan Textile Exporters Association, Mian Aftab Ahmad, Regional Chairman, All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA), Muzzamal Sultan President, Rehan Naseem Bharara, Vice President, FCCI, Chaudhry Salamat Ali, former Chairman PHMA (North Zone) and Khalid Mehmood Cheema, Chairman All Pakistan Cotton Power-looms Association, Faisalabad attended the press conference.
