Italian investors are interested to invest in Pakistan along with participating in the reconstruction activities in various areas of Sindh affected by the recent rains and the flood. This was stated by a delegation from Italy, comprising prominent businessmen, who visited Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) here, said a FPCCI release on Tuesday.
The delegates were Giuseppe Forlanelli, Massimiliano Calderan, Enrico Musso, Luchetta Antonio, Luchetta Gaspare, Mazzariol Adriano and Enea Alcerni Badin. Vice President FPCCI Dawood Usman Jakhura greeted Turkish delegation at Federation House. S.M. Muneer, Mansha Churra, Shaikh Humayun Sayeed, Sardar Popalzai, Nasir H. Schon and Asher H. Schon were also present in the meeting. The participants identified areas of co-operation between Pakistan and Italy. These included capability of Italian companies to be involved in post-flood reconstruction efforts and investment in mining, furniture and automobiles sectors.
