Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, has said the government is committed for provision of better education, health and communication facilities to the masses, saying that no stone will be left unturned for reconstruction of schools and infrastructure destroyed in acts of terrorism.
Addressing a Jirga comprises union councils of KP-10 here on Tuesday, he said that the educational institutions had destroyed by the terrorists to push future generation into darkness, but the government and people is united for foiling their evil designs. He said that the reconstruction of damaged schools in the area has completed and some were under construction. Deputy Speaker, Provincial Assembly, Khushdil Khan lead the Jirga. Other members included Roedad Khan Adezai, Malik Feroz Sherekera, Abdul Baqi Maryamazai, Noshad Telaband, Noor Ali Shah Baba, Noor Rahman Lala and others were present on the occasion.
Hoti said that the greater funds had been provided to the constituency keeping in view problems and difficulties as compared to other constituencies of Peshawar. Regarding gas facility in the constituency, he said that the ban had been imposed on new gas connection at the Federal Level. However, he informed that the General Manager SNGPL would hold a meeting with representative and notables under Deputy Speaker Khushdil Khan to decide on details in this regard.
He further said the Federal Government will be requested then accordingly to ensure implementation on agreement between the company and local elders. Earlier, the Deputy Speaker Khushdil Khan and local elders thanked the chief minister for giving time for meeting and lauded government's steps against terrorism. They assured any sort of sacrifice for protection of the motherland. The delegation apprised the chief minister of basic needs, including gas and other facilities and difficulties.
Deputy Speaker Khushdil Khan thanked the chief minister and party leaders for provision of generous funds for reconstruction of damaged infra-structure and development schemes in the area. He threw detailed light on schemes in health, education and communication sectors on the occasion.
