Japanese Ambassador in Pakistan Hiroshi O.E. called on Jamaat-e-Islami Chief Syed Munawar Hasan at Mansoora on Tuesday and discussed with him matters of bilateral interest. The JI chief said that Pak-Japan friendship had strong foundations. He especially lauded Japan's generous help for the affected people of earthquake and flood in the country.
He said the JI wanted true leadership in the country that could help problems of the masses. The Japanese ambassador said that Pakistan had vast natural resources and strong manpower that could play important role in the country's rapid development. He also thanked the people of Pakistan for their support to Japanese people during recent natural calamities. Secretary General JI, Liaqat Baloch, Hafiz Salman Butt and Zafar Jamal Baloch were also present.
